One of the oldest house in Kauswagan is the Commendador Residence that was built way back 1940’s. Located between Malvar and Quezon St. corner in Poblacion Kauswagan Lanao Del Norte owned by Mr. & Ms. Elpedio B. Comendador. This house was lived through generation that build a remarkable experience by the family who lived in. There was a superstitious belief that whatever or whenever a person who slept or fell down downstairs will never neither get injured nor hurt. The house wide and big that can accommodate 50 persons .The thing that can be proud of this house is that the upper part is never been renovated but still looks good.
